Being an incurable "rustaholic", I hope to share with
others who suffer from the same malady, some of the information which I
have been fortunate to gather. It all started with stationary
engines back in the late 60's. After retiring from the Air Force and
moving to North Carolina, I saw an ad in a local paper for a cane mill,
which was the beginning of a strong interest in the art of making
sorghum syrup. It seems that folks who are interested in
cane mills are often interested in other types of mills as well, hence
the grist mills and cider mills.
My webpages are a reflection of these interests, and in this way I
can hopefully assist in locating information related to this old iron.
In June, '05 I purchased a macro lens for
my digital camera and have had a great time taking pictures of small
things and
showing them as most of us never see them. Click on Ken's Kritters
to see my latest obsession;-)
