This
is a hammermill that is small enough to run with a hit and
miss engine. It is made by C.S. Bell Co., Hillsboro, Ohio. This
company is best known in this area, (NC), as a maker of farm
bells.

This is
the oldest of our three cider mills. It was made by Warder,
Mitchell, and Co., Springfield, Ohio. It has a wooden feed roller
with spikes to grip the pieces of apple as they are fed into the
grinder.

This is
our Excelsior medium sized cider mill. We have used this mill in
demonstrations at our local show. We have another one that is
quite a bit larger, and marked #2 Improved. I don't know what the
name of the company is, or where they were made. If anyone has
that information, I would appreciate hearing from them
