Ed makes about 50 gals. of syrup per
year. He has 3 horse drawn mills, two Kentucky no. 1 and no. 4 mills
and a Belknap no 3 new blue grass 1916 model. The mill shown above is a Cook "Superior" #31, which Ed
has converted to belt power. Above left and right are views of the
completed project. The middle image is a catalog cut of the Cook mill in it's original configuration. |
